Over short periods of time, these changes are harmless and even helpful like in times of danger, but over a long period of time, the human body can become fatigued from this constant state of excitement. Your hair will begin to gay prematurely, you'll wrinkle more, and your immune system may become compromised. In addition, excess stress can lead to cardiovascular problems like heart attacks and strokes.

In order to combat the effects of stress on your body, you need to take time to relax and release your frustrations and stress. Consider adding things like cedar gazebos to your backyard if you have the space. Imagine the peace and tranquility that you can experience by sitting outside under the gazebo on a nice, sunny day. Also, consider purchasing a hot tub for inside or outside of your home. Since antiquity, humans have recognized the healing effects of hot water on the body. You may also want to install an infrared sauna into your home, which can help to sooth your aching muscles and to decrease your stress levels after a hard day of work.
