Relax in your Hot Tub this Spring!

If you're a Toronto, Whitby, or Peterborough resident, you've had a pretty chilly winter with quite a bit of snowfall. Now is the time for you to enjoy a relaxing, much needed hot tub experience, right? Right!
After following our step-by-step winterizing recommendations or having one of our qualified technicians prepare your hot tub for winter, getting your hot tub up and ready for spring could be as easy as a spring breeze!

How to Get your Hot Tub Ready for Spring Fittings and Unions

Make sure every union and all fittings are tight. This is to avoid potential leakage. If you find a leak, call us.

Fill 'er Up - Economically

Fill up the hot tub, like normal, with cool water. There's no need to waste warm, or hot water during this part of the process. Cool water is just fine!

Power Up and Cycle the Jets

Turn on the power and let the jets run for about 15-30 minutes.

On and Off and On and Off

Cycle the air blower on and off while the jets are running. This will help to ensure the lines get purged.

Drain the Hot Tub

Just like you would during a normal cleaning, completely drain the hot tubs.

Put a New Filter in

Start off with a new filter, to help guarantee a service-free Spring. However, if you don't have a new one, you can put in the one that you have available. Just make sure the filter is in good condition.

Fill 'er Up - Again

Fill up your hot tub to an appropriate water level and move on to the next step.

Test and Treat

Test the water with a testing strip. Based on the results, treat your hot tub appropriately with the recommended chemical(s). This will help to ensure proper performance from your tub.

Re-Treat

You're ready for a nice
